The Board of Selectmen is seeking suggestions to name the Canton Middle/High School Turf Field, Canton Middle/High School Stadium and the Upper Field at the Canton Middle/High School which are all located at 76 Simonds Avenue. 6/30/2024 - Road Closures ~ DPW & Eversource are Aware

ROAD CLOSURES

There are multiple downed power lines and trees blocking roadways throughout town. Canton DPW and Eversource are working hard to keep up with clearing the debris and restoring power. Eversource has been notified and are in the area.

Please avoid any unnecessary travel and avoid downed power lines.

CURRENTLY CLOSED/UNPASSABLE ROADS:

  • River Road (Town Bridge to Bridge Street) Trees & Wires Down

  • Birch Knoll (Closer to Route 44)

  • Country Lane (BLOCKED - no way in or out)

  • Gemstone & Erickson

  • Senior Center - Garden Area has down trees & wires

Please treat all down wires as LIVE wires. Please stay home and be safe.
