3/11/2021 - With the warmer weather, come bear sightings

If these scenes look all too familiar, please take a moment to review our suggestions and guidelines for dealing with black bear in the community.
The Canton Police Department works with the DEEP to find ways to minimize interactions between bears and people...but we need your help.
One of the best ways to discourage a bear is to remove food sources!  Garbage receptacles and bird feeders are a common target.  Please do your part to keep the wildlife wild.
